David Noble Tullis was a son of John Charles Tulles (1822-1850) and Charlotte Gregory (1821-1906), and a grandson of David Tulles (1787-1860) and Elizabeth Secrest (1791-1849). That David Tulles was profiled in Tullis Trees, Vol. 3, No. 4.
