“Morrison, Opr, Wab”. The inscription seems to indicate that Mr. Morrison worked on the Wabash railroad line (along with M. L. Smith).

“Billy Ross, Temperance Lecturer”.

General William Tecumseh Sherman. Although not identified with an inscription, this is readily recognizable as General Sherman of the Civil War (and indicated as such on the back of the photo). Apparently Charles S. Smith (second husband of Lydia Ann Mintonye) served in the Union Army under General Sherman.
