Editor’s Note: This is the fourth installment of extracts from the book “The Richard Tullis Family of Columbiana County, Ohio” by Carolyn Miller and Patricia Tullys (1989). In this installment, we focus on the second child of Richard Tullis and Rachel Barrett, John Morlan Tullis and his family.

John Morlan Tullis (1819-1893) was the second child of Richard Tullis (1794-1856) and Rachel Barrett (1800-1856). In 1841 he married Mary Bradfield with whom he had ten children: Rachel Ann, Arminda J., Thomas Lewis, Benjamin Franklin, Mary Elizabeth, John Theodore, Laura Samantha, Melissa Anzonetta, Ella Viola, and Mary Matilda.
